A few things to know

Ticket Terms and Conditions:

Refunds/Exchanges: We do not offer a refund on any tickets. In order to exchange tickets, notice of more than one week is required to exchange tickets. Tickets can only be exchanged by calling the box office booking line on 01453 800200 which is manned 9:30-4:30 Monday to Friday. There is a £3.50 admin charge to exchange your tickets per booking. Tickets cannot be exchanged at the onsite box office.

Should tickets for the alternative performance be of greater value, you must pay the difference. No money will be reimbursed should you wish to exchange for a performance with tickets of a lesser value. Child tickets purchased may be upgraded to adult tickets on the day of the show at the onsite box office. An upgrade fee of £10 will be charged.

Ticket refunds are only offered in the case of a cancelled show. We will continue to honour refunds and exchanges, subject to availability, offered to ticket holders affected by our 2020 and 2021 Covid-19 closures. If you hold tickets for any of the cancelled shows please contact to arrange a refund or exchange.

Payment: Should you be purchasing tickets or merchandise on site, please bring cash or credit/debit cards. We have card machines however due to the remote situation of some of our venues, such as Stonor Park and Bowood House and Gardens, we cannot always guarantee connectivity.

Changes: All our mailers are correct at the time of printing. Due to circumstances beyond our control Giffords Circus reserves the right to make alterations to the programme, company and/or tour.

Late Arrivals: Please try to arrive on time. The management reserves the right to refuse admission and to admit late comers only at appropriate intervals. We cannot guarantee that parties arriving late will be able to sit together.

Babies/Toddlers: Under 3s go free and should sit on a lap. If you are bringing a child under three to a performance, we ask that you book an infant ticket, free of charge, when making your booking.

Access: Please let us know if someone in your party requires special assistance in advance of the day of the show. We have a number of spaces suitable for wheelchairs, at ground level with flat access into the tent. Prior booking of these spaces is essential as we cannot guarantee availability without advance notice.

Safety: Some of the grounds can be uneven and slippery. It may be dark when you leave the show, so please come prepared and suitably dressed.

Cameras: Photography and filming of short clips for personal use is permitted in the Big Top. Flash photography is prohibited.

The management reserves the right to remove any ticket holder from the circus, without refund, on reasonable grounds including, without limitation, where the ticket holder breaches these terms and conditions, disrupts other audience members’ enjoyment or does anything that the management considers to be unacceptable and which may cause damage, nuisance or injury. Ticket holders must comply with instructions and directions given by Circus staff.

How to pay and taxes

We accept online payment through our secure payment system using credit or debit card. We currently accept MasterCard / Visa / Switch / Solo / Delta. Cheques should be made payable to Giffords Circus ensuring all details are correct with valid bankers card number, expiry date, full name, address and telephone number printed clearly on the reverse. We do advise customers not to send any cash through the post, as Giffords Circus will not be held responsible for any losses. All prices and transactions are shown in £ sterling. All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20%.

How we get your order to you

We deliver to UK mainland destinations excluding the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. These areas will incur an additional charge and you will be contacted within 24 hours after your order has been placed.

Europe and other destinations may be possible but additional delivery charges will apply – please contact us in advance for a quote. Printed confirmations are sent out once a week. Please note that delivery dates may be affected by public or bank holidays.

Shires Entertainments Ltd (Trading as Giffords Circus) does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, agents, directors, or employees, or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither Shires Entertainments Ltd, nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of Shires Entertainments Ltd or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.

While Shires Entertainments Ltd uses reasonable actions to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Shires Entertainments Ltd will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.

While Shires Entertainments Ltd takes all reasonable steps to ensure a fast and reliable service, Shires Entertainments Ltd will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

No person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have any right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999. Nothing in these conditions is intended or shall affect any of your statutory rights that may not be legally excluded.
